Before you can get started, you need to download and install the BBC iPlayer Downloads app. It's free to download. If you already have an older version of the app (version number beginning with 1), you will need to uninstall it first.

To set your download preferences, like whether to download over a mobile connection, tap Menu > Settings and look beneath the Downloads Settings header.
You can keep the movies and shows that you download for as long as they're available on BBC iPlayer. Some content is only available for 30 days, others for years. Your downloads will automatically delete when the expiry date is reached. You can see the expiry date on the movie or show page.
No matter where you are in the world, you can watch anything on BBC iPlayer providing you've downloaded it before you set off. There are thousands of hours of movies and shows on BBC iPlayer, so there's enough to keep you busy for even the longest journey.
To download an items chose Download from the context menu for an item. This is accessible when hovering on a poster, on the top right of pre play screens, and on the right side of rows for items in list view, such as music tracks in an album.
If a download has not yet completed, it can be canceled from the same context menu as above. Otherwise,you can use the red X on the right side of an entry in the Downloads library to delete a finished (or in-progress) download.
To play downloaded content, simply go to the Downloads library, find the entry, and play it. You can click on the artwork to immediately initiate playback or click on the title of the download to view the preplay screens and the other items in it like tracks, seasons and episodes.
Unlike the regular web app, you cannot choose a mobile app as a target for downloading. If you wish to download content to a supported mobile app, please either do so directly from the mobile app in question or use our regular web app.
If you manually place files in the download storage location, the app will not see the content and you will not be able to play it from the app. The app only recognizes content that went through the standard Download process through the app.
Hulu is a juggernaut when it comes to serving up your favorite shows and movies. One of the biggest advantages Hulu has over other giants like Netflix is that you can often watch new network TV episodes the day after they air. Netflix only streams complete seasons once the final episode airs and only does so after securing the rights.

You can preview Adobe Stock images and videos by downloading the low-resolution, watermarked versions, subject to the license restrictions. No payment is required until you decide to license the asset. You can also download a low bit rate version of an audio track without the watermark on it.
Templates and 3D assets must be licensed before you can download them, but some are included in the free col lection. You can view a large, detailed preview of these assets by clicking the thumbnail image. Descriptive text about each asset is included in the details pane.
It kept giving me an error saying I had to many downloads on my device. I removed 5 episodes off the end of my list of The Magicians, and it still wouldnt let me download the 1 episode it skipped on downloading from the previous season. No matter how many I removed for the list, it wouldnt let me add the one. Had to go into settings>apps>Netflix and clear the cache. That fixed the issue.
I believe Netflix is doing the right thing. If people are downloading that many shows, it stands to prove they are not watching them regularly or they would not be staying at the same number of movies, or TV shows. If and when I download, I plan on watching them in the very near future! Keep up the good work Netflix, I appreciate the fact that I am able to download anything at all, and to be able to watch them offline is a huge plus for me! Thank you!
Although I can see why limitations are set, I find it hard to digest you pay for something supposedly allowing access to content to find there are limitations restricting you. Also, I downloaded quite some episodes of Money Heist as I was travelling to a country with doubtfull internet, to find out all files were not accessible. I had to delete all and watch all online. Anyway, room for improvement, I would say.
Very disappointed!!! I dont have internet at home, and i thought downloads would be the solution to watching my favorite shows that are not available on DVD. First i learned that i cant watch the downloads through my smart TV so the whole family huddles in front of the laptop. Second, I downloaded several episodes of one show since i wouldnt by going near a connection for awhile. I didnt get a chance to watch all of them in the 48 hours before they expired, and now i cant download them again for a year! Very worthless service for me. I will definately cancel. 2ff7e9595c
